No one was reported injured in the shooting, but a bullet struck the home of one of the victims, according to police.

The shooting occurred about 7 p.m. July 6. Police responded to a report of shots fired in front of a house near Esther Court and Parkview Avenue. Police said someone had pulled out a pistol and told the victims to empty their pockets, then ran to a vehicle and fired shots toward the juvenile-age victims.

Police were given details about the suspected shooter, vehicle and license plate. A traffic stop four minutes later led to five juveniles, including Robertson, with a pistol.

Iowa City police spokesman Sgt. Scott Gaarde said Robertson and the victims knew each other and "it was an ongoing dispute" among them. Robertson was taken to the Linn County juvenile detention center.
