Candidate supports equity in all of our schools

I am happy to be supporting Paul Roesler in the July 19 school board special election.

Paul is extremely well-informed, having attended school board and committee meetings faithfully for the past several years. He is well aware of the challenges and the strengths of our district. His experience as the parent of junior high and elementary students, and as the spouse of a teacher at Mark Twain Elementary School, will only enhance his service to our community.

He knows where improvement is needed and where success should be celebrated. In short, he will be ready to do the job on Day 1. He also stands out as the candidate who supports equity in all of our schools. He believes in the best possible opportunities for all students, academically and in extracurricular activities.

Please vote for Paul on July 19, or vote early at the Johnson County Auditor's Office, 916 S. Dubuque St., that started July 5.
