Want to vote? Early voting begins today

Election 2014

Early voting begins today across the state for the Nov. 4 general election.

The Johnson County Auditor's office has announced the full satellite voting schedule for the Nov. 4 general election:

• In-person early voting begins today at the Johnson County Auditor's office at 913 S. Dubuque St. They will be open for early voting from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays Thursday to Nov. 1.

Early Bird Site voting: They also will have a first day Early Bird Site from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Iowa City Public Library.

The auditor's office will partner with the Rural Health and Safety Clinic to use the clinic's outreach trailer as a Votemobile at eight satellite sites, including five Friday Night Lights sites at high school football games and three visits to Hy-Vee grocery stores. Game admission is not required to vote at Friday Night Lights sites.

• 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 26, Friday Night Lights Clear Creek Amana High School, Votemobile, 331 Marengo Road, in Tiffin.

• 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 27 and Oct. 4, Iowa City Farmers Market, Chauncey Swan Parking Ramp, at 405 E. Washington St.

• 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 3, Friday Night Lights, Regina High School, Votemobile, 2150 Rochester Ave. in Iowa City.

• 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 10, Friday Night Lights, Lone Tree High School, Votemobile, at 303 S. Devoe St. in Lone Tree.

• Noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 12, North Liberty Farmers Market, at 620 Pacha Parkway.

• 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 14 to Oct. 16, Burge Hall, 301 N. Clinton St. at the University of Iowa.

• 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 14 to Oct. 16, Hillcrest Hall, 25 Byington Road at the University of Iowa.

• 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 14, Senior Dining Potluck, Hills Community Center, at 110 E Main St.

• 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 17, Friday Night Lights, West High, Votemobile, 2901 Melrose Ave. in Iowa City.

• 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 18, Hy-Vee, Votemobile, 1201 N. Dodge St. in Iowa City.

• 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 25, Hy-Vee, Votemobile, 812 S. First Ave. in Iowa City.

• 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 26, Hy-Vee, Votemobile, 1720 Waterfront Drive in Iowa City.

• 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20 to Oct. 24, Old Capitol Town Center, 201 S. Clinton St. in Iowa City.

• 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 24, Friday Night Lights, City High, Votemobile, 1900 Morningside Drive in Iowa City.

• Noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, Coralville Public Library, 1401 Fifth St.

• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27-29, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, 200 Hawkins Drive in Iowa City.

• 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27, North Liberty Community Library, 520 W. Cherry St.
