Clinton: I'd rather be president than Beyonce because I can't sing

It wasn't your average campaign trail question that Hillary Clinton faced in Iowa City on Wednesday.

Would you rather be president or Beyonce?

The Democratic candidate for president thought for a minute before answering.

"Well if I really had a choice I'd rather be president because I can't sing," she said, before going on to talk about how much she admires Beyonce, a Grammy-winning superstar who has performed at the White House for President Barack Obama.

The question was the last one of the day at a town hall at the Old Brick Church at 26 E. Market St. where the former secretary of state addressed ISIS, social security and raising taxes on the wealthy.

Clinton assured the crowd that they did not want to hear her sing, but said Beyonce's work ethic is something she draws inspiration from.

"I want to be as good a president as Beyonce is a performer," she said.
